Part of our range carries recognised certifications for quality, sustainability and responsible production - from organic cotton and recycled materials to testing for harmful substances and fair working conditions. Certifications vary from product to product: some carry several, some fewer, some none. That's why we show, on each item, exactly which certifications that product holds.

Organic & recycled materials

  • GOTS — the leading standard for organic cotton, with no GMO seeds or harmful chemicals and full traceability.
  • OCS (Organic Content Standard) — verifies the organic material content of a product and its traceability.
  • GRS (Global Recycled Standard) — verified recycled materials with traceability and environmental and social criteria.
  • RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) — verifies the recycled material content of a product and its origin.
  • Better Cotton (BCI) — an initiative for more sustainable cotton farming: better conditions for farmers and the environment.
  • Fairtrade — fair price and terms for cotton producers and workers in the chain.

Safety & chemicals

  • OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 — every component tested for harmful substances, safe on skin.
  • OEKO-TEX® STeP — certification for sustainable factory production: safe chemicals, environment and working conditions.

Working conditions

  • Fair Wear Foundation — an independent body for fair factory working conditions; Stanley/Stella holds the top "Leader" status.
  • WRAP — a standard for lawful, ethical and safe apparel manufacturing.

Animal welfare
